4Ps of a First time Mom
1. Pagod. Nakakapagod ang physical stress and burn out. Mula pagkapanganak at nasa recovery process pa ang katawan mo, need mo nang gumalaw to feed your newborn. Dagdag pa ang mentality torture kasi hindi pa totally nagsisink yung pagkakaroon nang anak at pagiging nanay. As FTM, WALA KA TALAGANG ALAM UNTIL YOU EXPERIENCE IT. Yes, mga mga vlogs, mga articles na pwedeng magbigay nang ideya sayo how to start but it is your strong mentality that will help you sustain your energy.
2. Puyat.Your newborn decides your sleeping time. Sa first month, talagang pinagpala kana sa 2-3 hours ni baby. Sasabayan mong matulog or else you will loose the chance to get some sleep. However, dahil FTM mom, your anxious na baka di humihinga si baby and if you lose sight, baka magka SIDS kaya kung pwedeng magdrugs para 24/7 na gising, why not..chariz.
3. Pain. Breastfeeding is no fun especially sa latching process ni baby. your newborn will have to familiarize sucking your nipples. Sad part, it will make your nipple sore, at mahapdi siya but then you have a baby to feed so you will take the suffering of a sore breast to feeding.
4. Praning. Overwhelming, Establishing routine..Failure to become a mother, not doing well and many more dramatic emotions on earth.
Lastly, as long as you intent whats best and good for your child wihout harming them. Do it. Forget others how they will judge your mothering they are not the mother anyway.
