My Cycle is no where to be found?!

Had my MC 3/26/22 (measured 6wks vs 12wks LMP) and I bled for a week. Bled again for 2 days 05/14 & 05/15 although my hcg is hovering at 60s still. Had my D&C 2x last June ‘22, from there my hcg slowly went down to 2 last 09/18. It’s been 10 weeks and no AF. Notified MD and started Provera 10mg qd x 10days to induce bleeding-started 11/7. Still no AF after 14 days,now MD want me to start on birth control pills to see if my cycle starts. I’m kind of lost. It’s my first MC after 12yrs since my last pregnancy. Has anyone experience the same?
