Hi there ! I started birthcontrol on the combo pill when I was 15 about 6 months ago I started to get aura in my eyes and they were scared I was gonna have a stroke ( I also vaped a lot then) so they took my off that put my on the Nexplanon… and let me tell you this thing is nice because no babies and no stress and easy but SYMPTOMS ARE NUTS. I’ve been bleeding for about 6 1/2 months straight so since I’ve gotten it in, my anxiety has been so bad I don’t even go to work or see mr friends And I’ve never had depression but just realized I sleep all the time and hate social interaction so assuming that’s depression. It’s very off and on with how I feel. I bleed through my underwear daily and I don’t even feel like myself anymore. I feel stuck. I do have PCOS that I was diagnosed with last year so I figure staying in bc would be good ? Now I’m thinking of getting off. I am only 21 and I am very sexually active with my boyfriend of over 2 years… and neither of us are ready for kids AT ALL. I wanna go off for my body but what about sex lol. I was thinking about the Nuva ring now that I don’t smoke and stuff and it seems easy to use. Any thoughts ? Help please please.
