How is this possible?
OK so my follow up with the doc is next week and I was a little out of it when she was speaking to me but she said that when I went in for my laparoscopy, she couldn't find what was causing the blockage?! She said my tubes were open so what was blocking them must have been near the opening but then why didn't she see? She said they even tried flushing them three times and it wasn't working.
She said she did a D & C as well because my uterine lining was a bit thick, but then she also says that seeing that my period was about two weeks ago that's might be normal?
I'm so upset because now I feel like that horrible experience was for nothing. I felt AWFUL after the surgery yesterday, it took me HOURS to feel awake enough to leave and I felt like I had to force myself to breath which meant I kept waking myself up from my post surgery naps taking giant breaths, which in turn hurt my chest and shoulder. And don't even get me started on the shoulder pain.
She mentioned something about speaking to her colleague who does a different approach and it's like, why can't this just be easy for us! Is this our sign that we just aren't meant to have children?! What???
@Kait sorry I might not have explained properly. My tubes themselves have no blockages but there is something blocking them..they tried to flush them three times but the liquid wasn't going through. But they couldn't see on the Laparoscopy what the block was and where
