Hi everyone,

Unfortunately I suffered a miscarriage at 6 weeks on Monday. This was my first pregnancy, I conceived in the second month so we are very hopeful for the future but obviously heartbroken right now.

Spotting began Friday afternoon through Monday AM until I passed the fetus when it then became heavy bleeding. So it’s only been 5 days since the heavy bleeding began. I woke up today to nothing in my pad or toilet but now have light flow of red blood with no pain. This is normal right? Family and friends who have gone through this say it’ll last about a week or two since I was so early. I will be calling my OB Monday but was wondering what you all have experienced in the mean time. Also, will be having them do an ultrasound and check up to see if I am cleared for sex but I know this checkup can’t happen until bleeding stops!
