Ladies I finally took the plunge! I’m 27 and have no children, and on the 29th of November I had both of my fallopian tubes removed (also known as a bilateral salpingectomy) and I couldn’t be doing better. I’m resting and mending, taking it easy until my doctor clears me to return to work next week. I’m definitely a bit sore still but recovery is way easier than I expected it would be.

It was my first surgery and it went without issue; I was a good patient and didn’t give the doc any surprises lol. I’m so grateful I found a doctor willing to sterilize me before age 30 and I’m so grateful I have no chance of getting pregnant now. It took years to accomplish but I’m officially a permanent member of team no kids :)
