I am Katelyn (21) and I have been out as a lesbian since I was 16 so this is nothing new. Recently a new guy has entered our friend group and we will call him Tom (23). I have not actually talked to him at all much less meet him. Tom has a huge crush on me and still hardly even looks at me. He tells everyone in our group how much he likes me, but no interaction. We recently hosted at party at the apartment I share with my sister and her boyfriend and he was there. Literally sat on the other side of the room from me. My sister and her boyfriend are really pushing for me to “give him a chance”. It makes me feel so bad because Tom knows I am a lesbian and they still push it. What should I do?
