At what age did you start potty training your lo ?

We encourage it always. My 1 year old was excited about the potty so we sat her there and told her what a big girl she was and just let them lead by how interested or not interested they were. Didn’t seriously start to potty train until around 2 though

We started introducing the potty to her routines around 2 years old. She was initially scared of the potty, but somewhere around 3 something clicked for her and she was out of diapers in a week and completely potty trained. I think it was about the right motivation for her. She really wanted to wear panties and not diapers anymore. Every kid is so different though.

As soon as they both could walk. For my oldest that was 14 months and for my middle that was 12 months. My oldest was fully potty trained by 18 months. My middle…is a character. She’s almost 2 and still deciding when to tell us she needs the potty. She has like 1-2 accidents a day still.

I waited until she was ready which wasn't until just after three. We attempted at 2.5 so I wouldn't have two kids in diapers but it was a disaster.

My son we started at 2yrs potty trained by 3yrs but looking back I don’t think he was ready then. My daughter she definitely ready she was out of nappies before her 2nd birthday.

About 20-21 months. When they showed interest and ability, we taught them just like we teach them many other skills. It doesn't have to be a daunting task.

Started when he showed interest at 2 years old, he’s 3.5 and still not potty trained🙃 the closest we got was him telling us when he needs to pee or poop and sitting him on the toilet, but he sits there for a while until he decides he has enough, wants a square of toilet paper to throw in the toilet, then he goes in his diaper when we pull it up again. We have tried so many things and nothing has worked. Naked was a nightmare, underwear didn’t phase him and he’d treat it as a diaper. Doesn’t care about stickers. We wanted him potty trained by the time our baby was born but here we are with a nearly two month old and my efforts to get him on the potty have tanked because I don’t have the time.

We wait until our kids are ready. At about 2.5 we will get a little potty seat for the bathroom and when we go we will ask if they want to to. If they don’t we don’t push it and if they do great! My boy was 4 and my girl was 3 but they were completely potty trained, day and night trained, in one day.

My son was not ready until shortly after his 3rd birthday. He’s 3.5 now and there are still days when he is playing and gets distracted, that he will have an accident.

I introduce the potty at 2 but I don’t push it until they show they’re ready. My older two boys were both potty trained by 3.5 years. My youngest turns 3 tomorrow and I believe that will be the case with him as well.
