I asked an online friend of mine this and he said no. No may seem like the obvious answer but I feel for me I have alot going on in my life.

I was inspired by a friend of mine( also online friendship) that met friends irl and I wanted to do the same but I feel the need to get my life in order first. I'm 31, at home with 2 kids and my home environment is toxic, my folks have zero respect for me. I have no car ..nothing. I just kinda got hit with bad luck but I'm working hard to rebuild my life.

My guy friend said that if I need to have xy and z and if people don't accept me how I am they're not my friend.

I agree qnd disagree. People do fall on hard times but I'd also understand why people would see me and be like no as a friend because I need my lif3 together.

What do yall think.

Is my friend right or am i?I? Hr thinks I can go on and make friends as I am but I feel the need to get my life in order first. Not just for friends but myself in general.
