So there has been a push in some areas and groups to lower the voting age to 16. The main argument is that at 16 you can have a job and have taxed wages they should get a say in things that will effect them. Same idea with things like gun and medical laws that will effect them immediately or in the very near future. The counter points I've seen are too uninformed, too young, not life experience, or parents will just have them vote for their candidate and basically give parents extra votes. I am seeing what everyone's view is on a topic that is very divided in their thoughts. Please be respectful and let's not throw in rude ageism or low ball insults if we can.
