I’m 10 weeks pregnant and my mother in law who used to ignore my existence texts me often now. I used to try so hard to get her to like me and she always gave me the cold shoulder. Even told my husband and I she didn’t want to come to our wedding… now that I’m pregnant she’s being warm which really upsets me. I can tell she only cares about me now because I have something she wants. My husband can’t stand her and never could. Even way before we were dating and just friends he would tell me how much he hated her but I tried to see past it. What do I do? How do I make sure she’s not involved? I don’t trust this new creepy level of caring all of sudden.
