So my boyfriend and I have only been dating for 8 1/2 months. He is in the military and I definitely am not. I’m born and raised in California like antelope valley California not by the beaches, and he was born and raised in Iowa, he is stationed in San Diego so that’s about a 3 to 4 hour drive for me, it definitely is hard when we can only see each other on the weekends and only for one day because my parents are Bible thumper Christians and say that if you want to stay with him over night you need to be married. We eventually want to get married but now this soon. I was in a really toxic relationship before him and my ex’s mother was just awful to me, I’m very nervous to go up to Iowa and meet his family because I’m scared that they are either going to hate me or just hurt me, not physically just mentally… he has told me that his family already likes me, but I feel like he hasn’t really talked to them that much about me. I don’t know if I’m just slowly loosing my mind and he’s telling the truth or what. I just want meeting his family to go well. Am I crazy or am I just over reacting
