When to tell family?

Right now, just hubby and I know. And my parents. The rest, we’re waiting until 12 weeks or later.

I will wait until i hear the heartbeat on an ultrasound. Risk of miscarriage is significantly lower after that.

My husband wants to tell his family who we don’t see often honestly but I’m only 4 weeks and I want to wait to at least 12 weeks but I told my mum because she was with me when I found out

We are telling family at Christmas. So we can tell everyone at once and no one can cry they were the last to know. Our first ultrasound isn’t till 2 days after Christmas.

We’ll be 7W on Xmas day 
Also wondering if it’s too soon to tell our parents?

My husband, immediately family members, and best friend (was on a trip with her when I found out) know, and were going to tell cousins at Christmas, 7 1/2 weeks then. Its still early, but I don’t mind if they also know bad news (which I hope never happens).
