I went into the hospital Sunday night to be induced at 37 weeks since I was pre-eclamptic, got pitocin at 5am 12/5. I was 2 1/2cm going in, was 3cm when getting pitocin, and about 1 hr later my dr came in and broke my bag of water. I was trying not to get epidural but the pain was so bad right after I had to.

After I got it, took a nap for 4 hrs and woke up due to slight pain, got checked and I was 6cm. It kept getting more frequent(epidural finally started fully working) but an hr later I felt like I had to poo. Nurse came in and checked I was 8cm lol texted my aunt the change she rushed over and an hr after I texted her, the pressure got to be too much and I felt like I was going to push and I REALLY needed to poo. Nurse came in, she was doubtful but lo and behold, I was 10cm dilated and baby was +1 🤣

I pushed for 1hr and 30 min and almost gave up. I felt like I was going to faint and felt pain when he was crowning but he popped right out! He was born at 3:03pm 12/5, weighed 7lbs 6 oz and was 21 inches long!
