I’m due for my third csection at the end of next month. My due date is February 3rd but will be scheduled for my surgery at 38/39 weeks. My first csection went smooth and perfect, but my second was a literal nightmare. They couldn’t get my spinal placed correctly so they tried an epidural which also did not work. The surgeon did not trust me when I said I could still feel everything so long story short, they cut into me while I still could completely feel it and I had to be put to sleep. Now I’m starting to have major anxiety over having a C-section again and I’m so scared I will have a panic attack when they bring me into the OR. I plan to ask my doctor but curious if anyone knows if there are any options for me medication wise to take in order to calm my nerves. I want to be awake during the surgery but I’m afraid I will be freaking out so bad while they try to place the spinal that it won’t take effect again.
