I want to start off by saying I'm mainly a girl mom of 5 girls and just now have 1 son. I was changing him yesterday and he was red under his penis and around the scrotum genital area, he's been jumping in his jumperoo as he just learned how to jump and the PT therapist recommended us putting him in one to strengthen his legs... He and his twin sister are now 7 months old. My question is has anyone experienced this before with their sons and if so how can I help treat it? It's not an open sore/cut just tenderness and redness that's why I'm thinking skin chafing, help?! Thanks a confused newbie boy mother.
