Crawling-is it okay to skip?
My daughter will be 9 months on the 18th and she’s not crawling yet. She will pull her legs into crawling position but not crawl. She’s great at scooting if I hold her hands and she scoots to me but, she so far won’t unless being assisted and crawling has consisted of getting to a crawl position with some wiggles but no movement yet. I’ve met a few parents say their child skipped over crawling and went straight to walking. I just want to hear from other people. She sees her pediatrician after Christmas and we will discuss it, but the CDC doesn’t have crawling until a year of age? I’m just trying to get a feel on if this is something I should be concerned about right now. I believe she’ll get there soon but being a first time mom I worry on her milestones, even if I know kids don’t hit them all at the same time. So, drop below when your kids started crawling or if they just skipped it and went straight to running.
