My 16 month old took his FIRST STEPS today!!!!🥳🙌🏻 I was so excited I had no idea that it was about to happen. I coach him to try and get him to walk like 15 times a day everyday since he started standing 😅 but today while he was standing holding onto the couch I held my arms out and told him to “walk to mama” and HE DID!!!! but I’m not sure he actually knows that I wasn’t holding onto him and that he did it all by himself he took like 5 steps to me then right before we were leaving to go back home (this happened at my grandmas house) he did it again and took about 3 steps but ever since getting home he won’t walk when I stand him up he just fusses and drops down I’ve tried playing with him with toys and coaching him with food he just won’t do it for daddy to see and we aren’t being overwhelmingly loud or obvious of what we want him to do just playing with him casually like we usually do.

So my question is how long after your baby took their first steps did they actually start walking places and stop crawling everywhere😫
