Every 2 weeks or so (in the last month or 2) I have noticed after urinating that there have randomly been what looks like a single "dark speck" or a "brown/black pepper flake" in my urine (or what I think is in my urine, but maybe it’s coming from my uterus?) that sinks to the bottom.

I brought it up to my OB at my last visit 2 weeks ago (I am 20 weeks pregnant now) and she treated me for a UTI, because I had slightly elevated leukocytes. The culture ended up coming back negative, but I finished the antibiotics anyway. Said no follow-up was necessary.

I thought it was just a random occurrence then (only happened a few times) but last night I saw another 1. I tried fishing it out, and it mostly disintegrated, and what was left smeared a brown/yellow color on the QTip. I have another OB appointment tomorrow, so I will bring it up then, but I figured I would see if anyone else has had something similar since being pregnant?

Google has scared the shit out of me, saying it could be anything from pre-e to bladder cancer to nothing. I naturally am a super anxious person in general, so part of me feels like maybe I’m just looking for problems at this point, but it’s still in the back of my mind and now I’m afraid of the worst!

I also left a message for my primary to see if they have any idea, but haven’t heard anything yet. Tomorrow I will see how/if she wants to handle it when I go in for my 20 week OB appointment, but I figured I would reach out here as well to see if anyone else has noticed this since being pregnant? If so, what was it, and what did they do to treat it? Thanks!
