If you have one how painful was your IUD at first?!?

I had an iud put in almost a month ago and I’m still in a lot of pain sometimes, I will say the cramping isn’t haft as often I’m still have intense deep cramps. Also how long did you lady’s spot for?? And if you don’t have an iud would you get one??

It was bad during insertion. Like I screamed haha and then the day after I was pretty crampy, after that I love it! It’s great!

It was the cramps that were an absolutely nightmare. I was in so much pain once, I thought I was in labour like those stories you hear about, when the woman doesn't know she's pregnant, goes to the bathroom and the next thing you know, little Johnny pops out 🤣 I took it out after about a year, did not work for me.

I would not get one. I have two friends who got them, one only had the copper one of which she started having all these horrific symptoms, she was literally dying- not even joking, it was HORRID. Anyways the dang thing had RUSTED inside her uterus and she was being poisoned from the inside out. Got it removed and she slowly started to recover but she almost died. 
My other friend got it, felt nauseous all the time, dizzy and throwing up daily most of the time, she was bleeding constantly to the point where she would faint from anemia even tho she took iron supplements… she kept having doctors tell her it couldn’t possibly be the IUD. She got the copper one removed and within a few days all that went away. She tried one of the hormonal ones and it gave her drastically dramatic and depressive mood swings. She would be constantly filled with rage and panic and couldn’t figure out why… also super depressed. Then she got rid of that one and all the mood symptoms disappeared… 🤷🏼‍♀️ I just won’t do it haha. Not worth the risk to me. FAM/NFP has been amazing for us!
