Does this sound right? The office manager is taking advantage of me. I’m a receptionist, and in the office with just one or two doctors is hectic. I asked the OM Will there be a time when its 3-4 doctors on the same day and she said no. Well today was that day, this lady literally let me do everything and watched me.. although I handled it 💪🏽 it still shows she’s taking advantage. I have to write a daily financial sheet for all doctors, write the patients names, the service and the co pay all while importing medical information, answering phones, talking to patients in the office, taking messages, copy and faxing etc ALL at the same time. She literally sits there all day and do nothing, if anything she’ll answer the phone ever now and then. Then today 2 people called and wanted to schedule an appointment, so I asked the OM can you take this call to schedule the appointments, she said “ oh someone wants to schedule, you can do it”…. As if I’m not doing a million other things at the same time. Then she has the nerve to say is this person ready to go in, is this person ready to go in. I’m so aggravated and I’m ready to go off on her. Then because they take so long I had multiple patients cursing me out today. I’m definitely going to be looking for another job, because she’s taking advantage. I have an idea why all the other people quit smh.. The amount I get paid is NOT equivalent to what em supposed to be doing vs what she has me doing. I should definitely be getting paid way more. She’s a lazy office manager
