Insecure about hair…opinions?

So let me start by saying I hate my forehead lol I have a large forehead and have been super insecure about it my whole life. I usually have hairstyles with bangs to hide it and to this day am so deeply self conscious of it I don’t like other people seeing me without my hair done because I feel I just look horrendous.

That all being said lol I have had a pixie cut for many years. I’ve grown it out once before and pretty much went into social isolation during the process because I felt so bad about the grow out phases.

Well, I’d like to grow it out again but am so so nervous about the growing out phase.

I’ve been looking into getting a wig or two for these months until I can style my hair to look decent again. Would a wig be a ridiculous idea? I bought one once before for the same reason but felt like everyone would think I looked ridiculous and I never ended up wearing it.

The cross roads I’m at is I don’t feel great in my hair length now and I know I don’t feel great about myself during the grow out process but also am wondering if it’s a bad idea to get a wig for the time being….
