So I havnt had a real period in over 3 years. I have a 5 year old so obviously my reproductive parts are capable. Lol

My OBGYN basically told me that I do not ovulate at all. He thinks I have PCOS.

I complained about moodiness , irritability , weight gain that I can’t lose no matter how little I eat , and my bf (of 3 years) and I have never used protection at all and never had a single pregnancy scare. (He has a kid too so both of our parts worked at some point for sure lol)

Anyway, my doctor put me on metformin and Sprintec to help me get heavier periods and start ovulating. He said my hormones may be out of wack so he’s thinking this may also help me lose weight and be less irritable???

Anyone else have experience with this ?

Also, we don’t necessarily want a baby asap but definitely sometime in the near future.
