I homeschool. All of the above. In addition, I just dont agree with how children are treated at school. Their break time is pathetic with just 1 short recess and a quick lunch. Theyre expected to sit quietly for excessive periods. They get publicly humiliated with sad faces or red lights in front of their peers if they have a tough part of their day. Theyre expected to take work home with them and do more. It's like we expect more from children than adults would tolerate in their workplace, yet theyre children. Adults at work have more breaks, get up and chat with coworkers, dont usually take work home, maybe have a part of their day where theyre distracted or frustrated, and it's considered normal. But kids get disciplined.

A and B equally. School seems to waste a lot of their childhood just waiting for someone else to catch up. I was homeschooled,  and we finished our work in 1/3 the time of regular school schedules, which gave us more time to pursue fine arts like music and dance.

If I had a kid and had the ability and desire to stay home then I would homeschool them mainly because I can control what they’re learning. Id spend more time on things they actually need to know instead of on information that isn’t completely true and on stuff that isn’t necessary

I chose E because my reasoning is a mix of most of these answers plus some. Homeschool is the best, safest option for so many reasons.

It's really a combination of things. Mostly I like that we can take things at her pace and meet her where she's at. If she needs to be up a level or down a level, we can make that happen without doing it across the board. Like if they hold you back in 4th grade, you're stuck taking every subject at the 4th grade level. Even if it's really only a few things that you need at the 4th grade level. Like currently we aren't to the point where we need to notify the state yet. We have until the 2024 school year starts to do that. Right now it's just preschool. Technically the only Pre-K level thing we're working on is letter sounds/recognition (using the SATPIN method.) She already knows/knew the rest of the Pre-K objectives before we even started. For the rest of her subjects we're already into kinder and 1st grade levels. I love that level of flexibility and meeting her where she's at. We get to explore her interests more. Which makes learning way more fun for her. It's one on one. Mostly hands on. She's gaining real world experiences and not just learning to memorize things inside a classroom. Instead of two 15 min breaks and a 30 min lunch for socializing with kids her age, we're able to socialize all day with a variety of age groups. The money we're saving ($200 a month for 3 hrs a day 3 days a week for Pre-K here) has gone towards her interests. Pre-ballet. She just had her first major performance last month. Over 400 dancers. 1000+ audience. At the biggest stage in the city. Not physically big. But big as in I saw Alton Brown on that very same stage. She's 4. She keeps saying she wants to be a ballerina, she doesn't realize she already is. We'll stick with it for as long as she wants to do it. She explores on her own as well. Not sure where she learned it but she taught herself solids vs liquids last year. Just a lot of following her lead.
