Long story. Me and my hubby have been together since 2013 and ttc since 2014. Got pregnant in 2020 and had a miscarriage at 5w 4d. Started metformin for pcos in October 2022. Beginning of November I had my regular period as I did every month. I had another “period” at the end of November. It started off as very light bleeding so I thought my period was just starting. I took ovulation test every day after I started bleeding just to see what they would say and they were all positive. I started bleeding really heavy with blood clots after about day 6, (all together I bled for 15 days) I called the doc to see if it was the medicine making me bleed like that, she said no and wanted me to come in to get checked out so I took a pt before going to the doctor just to see if maybe it was a miscarriage. I took the pt and left my house for like 3 hours and came back and it was positive. I know it was out of the time frame. Well I didn’t have anymore pt so I took more ovulation test and they were all positive right away. Went to the doc and they told me I was having a chemical pregnancy, and wanted me to come back 2 days later for a ultrasound. I went back and sure enough I was having a chemical pregnancy. METFORMIN DOES WORK FOR GETTING PREGNANT WITH PCOS! I was on it for a month and got pregnant, it ended in chemical pregnancy but at least I ovulated and got pregnant. Does anyone have success stories with metformin and getting pregnant?
