I came off the pill a few months ago and have had cycles of 44, 32, 32, and 30 days since. I am now on day 34. I thought I ovulated late on day 22 and had sex on that day (and two days before). I only think I ovulated as I had sharp pains in my lower abdomen that I’d never had before. This app says I am now 4 days late. I did a test the day after it said my period was late and it’s negative.

Last night and this morning I’ve had sore nipples and now I’ve started bleeding. Could this be my period or implantation? If I implanted when I thought I did, I’ll be 12dpo (and 4 days late according to the app calendar).

The blood I have today is light and a mix of dark and light colour so I’m confused. I’ve just turned 40 and only just started trying. My time is running out 😢
