This is such a silly question but I am going to be a mom in about a month and just thinking and over thinking of what ifs and how am I going to do certain things.

When you get home from the hospital, where do you put the baby? I know they will be in a car seat but we have a dog who we don’t know will be okay with a new baby yet so where do you think we should put them. They have a lounger that I was thinking we can put on the couch? I guess the first few hours of them being home is going to be such a change.

Also, our hospital is 45 minutes away. Will the baby be okay in the car seat for that long? I read things about babies suffocating in them and just want to check. I know these are silly questions but just concerns that I have.
