Placenta too close to cervix & c-section incision
Okay so I might rant but please read 😅
Yesterday I had my anatomy scan. Im 21w5d today. Everything went really well, baby girl is measuring on time and she looks perfectly healthy. (She was a little uncooperative toward the end so they weren’t able to get all the heart measurements so I’ll go back the 29th to finish up those) … but after the ultrasound I saw my doctor and he mentioned that my placenta was too close to my cervix & my c-section incision (I’ve had two previous c-sections & will be having my 3rd with this pregnancy) & that because of this, they will be keeping an eye on it & that there’s a possibility I would have to have her earlier than expected.
Of course I didn’t ask enough questions because I didn’t realize the severity of it until I left and googled it. I’ll definitely be asking more questions at my next appointment, but curious if anyone else has been through this before?
