When are we able to do the next FET

Question

If I had a transfer on 7/12/22 and it fails I know we have do have a consultation and further medications ect but does anyone know roughly quickly we can try another transfer?

Last year, I had a transfer in April that ended in a 6-7 week loss. I miscarried on my own, but did have to take some medication for remaining tissue they could see by ultrasound. My HCG did take awhile to come back down. My clinic had said that once it was negative we could start our next FET. My clinic does short transfer protocols, so it only takes about 2 weeks or so to prepare for a transfer.  We started again once my HCG was negative and transferred June, so it was about 2 months post mc. I personally felt ready and just wanted to jump right in, but everyone is different. Good luck:)

I’m so sorry that your cycle failed. This process isn’t easy.
I haven’t had a failed transfer, but had to TFMR at 13 weeks and a miscarriage at 8 weeks. For both my clinic suggested waiting a minimum of three cycles to get the HCG out of my body, and to emotionally and physically heal. To be honest, I wish I had waited longer after my TFMR. I thought I was ready, but when the miscarriage happened after not fully healing emotionally from the previous loss— it absolutely wrecked me. Everyone is different! I’ve found that being thorough and going slowly with each step helps me go faster in the long run.
