Christmas gift for new boyfriend

I just met my current partner Sept 30 and we have been kind of dating since then so by Christmas it’ll be 3 months basically. I got him some nice underwear from Lululemon and a nice pair of Lululemon workout shorts. Is this good enough for a gift? I spent about $100. Should I give him a thoughtful card too? We tend to be very sentimental.
