Is the 4d ultrasound worth it?

My insurance doesn't cover it so I'd have to pay the money to go get it done. I'm so curious of what my baby girl looks like! 
My husband is worried about getting one because he thinks some of them can look creepy lol. But I just want to know how she looks! 
Did any of you get one? Was it worth it?

My fiancé and I went at 29 weeks + a couple days and it was worth every penny. After having 3 sons I was having a hard time connecting and picturing my life with a daughter. I was excited to see what she looked like, but to my surprise, it was such an emotional experience and we both cried. I felt more bonded to her and my fiancé after. Now when I get any feelings of doubt I just look at these photos of her and I’m excited all over again to meet her in 10 weeks 💓

This is my last baby at 24 weeks and it’s so worth it and so much better than the 3d!

We did it with both of my boys and I loved the experience! Having those pictures to look back on. I got them done at around 28weeks and loved seeing their little faces. A picture of my youngest came up on my “iPhone memories” and even though he’s 9 months now I can definitely see him in those ultrasound pictures 🥺❤️. If you stay really hydrated the pictures come out pretty clear!

So I paid for a private ultrasound at 17 weeks that was 4D and though my baby was still so small we couldn't see any detail in the face or anything it was very worth it to me for a more personal experience that was outside of a medical office. I also found out gender that way. My family was able to be there and we just got to watch baby move around and I got a USB of the footage from the session. It was really cool. 
If you go later on in pregnancy you are able to see all of the facial detail.

I did it with my last and it was so cool. My insurance paid for it though, it was a regular scheduled scan appt made by my doctor. Got lucky cause the place I went to only used 4d! So insurance had to pay for it 🥰
