Did you hire a doula?

I’m almost 14 weeks and I just hired my doula for June. I’m really excited.

I voted no because we didn’t have the financial means to hire one. If it was up to me, I’d have a home birth. A doula would be so valuable!

I’ve had two home water births and my doula was invaluable for both. Absolutely loved having her on my birth team 🥰

I did but she only showed up to my obgyn appointment once. I didn’t feel she was reliable enough to show up for the birth.

I did with my second but ended up going into preterm labor and didn’t get to use her. I did the placenta encapsulation tho. With my third I will not hire as I’m higher risk and I know exactly what I want.
