How do you deal with a suicidal partner?

I don’t know what else to do. He was going to go to counseling. And will hate me if he gets committed. (I’ve been committed and it just made things worse)

Please. I don’t know what to do anymore. It’s so draining. I can’t keep begging him not to when he gets drunk. (He won’t stop drinking) we have a son. I don’t want him around this. It’s so hard to leave him in such a dark place. Idk what to do….
