How do you split finances?

None of the above all of our money goes into joint bank accounts. We personally do not believe in "your money" and "my money"

We do a percentage. My husband makes 4X the amount I do so we each put around 60% into a shared account that pays bills, food, trips. And we have our own accounts for extras & gifts.

We do bill rotation. I live with my two partners and we have bill rotation. We don’t have joint accounts.

If I worked and wasn't a SAHM all of our money would be in the one and only account we share so it would be both of us. I really feel like in a marriage money should always be shared. If you're not married I personally believe it should be split 50/50 of both partners work.

I pay for the rent. He pays for the bills, groceries & household items which tends to = the same amount

We do it like whoever has it at the time the bill is due just pays but my bf pays majority and I just finish off whatever he can’t

Right now we split most shared bills 30/70. We split a couple 50/50. And then we pay our own personal bills. My SO just got a promotion and I should be getting one soon (just finished grad school last week). The plan is to use his income to pay our bills, use $100-200 of my income, and put the rest of my money come into a joint savings account.
