Testing toddler for COVID
My husband tested positive for COVID on Saturday. I tested negative. He’s been hanging out in our basement. He seems completely fine besides soreness. Pretty much besides testing positive he’s been living it up with tv shows and eating whatever he wants.
I’ve barely slept in two days. I’ve been cleaning/disinfecting the house, cooking special meals he wants and caring for my 2 year old. My toddler seemed more tired at nap time today so I put her owlet on her. I noticed her HR was more elevated than normal. So I took her temperature while she was asleep. 102.4 on her forehead reader. My husband wants me to give her a test when she wakes up from her nap. I honestly don’t want to. I’ll have to hold her down and she’s not going to understand why I’m doing it. I asked if he could help and he said no. That I’d have to do it all on my own because otherwise he’s expose her. I told him she’s already been exposed to him. But he keeps pushing for me to do it and without any help. I mean it’s not going to change anything whether she is or isn’t. Even if I don’t test her I’d still care for her as if she had it. I don’t know what to do.
