Feeling hopeless
Hello ladies! I just had a laparoscopy done this past Wednesday and my OB informed me that I have endometriosis. My left fallopian tube was basically stuck to my left sidewall so she removed it. My right tube is currently open but she doesn't know how long or if it will stay open due to the scar tissue in it. She made an incision after running dye through both tubes. I believe the test she performed was called Chromopertubation. It drained. I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything. I was hoping to get some advice or maybe some success stories because right now, I'm feeling a bit like a failure. She recommended me going on birth control to reduce the risk of an ectopic pregnancy and that she recommends IVF if my fiance and I ever want children of our own. Any advice, kind words or experiences are welcome. Thank you!!
