My husband and I have not been on a date since our anniversary in APRIL 2022. We have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. We have never been apart from them besides for work. They turn 5 and 2 in January. Both sets of grandparents live within 30 minutes away same with aunts and uncles. Both are involved with family events, get togethers etc.

My husband and I do everything, we don’t have time for self care, any time for ourselves. We both work full time.

I’m wondering if it’s “normal” for close family to never offer a hand? Family that we love and care about and who love and care about us. I see other people who have very involved family members and feel so jealous that we don’t have that.
