Pregnancy test

I’m near the end of my cycle and my ovulation tests levels are decreasing. My peak was a few days ago and I got a positive ovulation test. When is it the best to take a pregnancy test? Should I wait 1 week after my pissed period or 1 day after my missed period. When is it too early to test?
