7 month old has green gunk in eyes

So my 7 month old woke up with green gunk in her eyes with it being alittle swollen and I cleaned it off but now it’s still red and puffy and her eyes are watery , could it be a a infection or a clogged water ducked, she is also congested and alittle sick so I don’t know if that could be the cause: but i wanted to know if I should just keep cleaning it or should I take her to her
