Amoxicillin in the first trimester
Hi all! I'm 10wks4dys today and started taking amoxicillin prescribed by my OB/GYN. I'm a little nervous, because although they say it is safe, read online it can cause possible birth defects such as cleft lip and palate if taken in the first trimester. Does anyone have experience taking it in the first trimester? Did everything turn out OK?
