Recently diagnosed with chlamydia and scared

I had sex 2 months ago and today I had chlamydia test and it came back positive. I’m in shook because I’ve only had sex with one person for a year and I’m so angry that he lied to me and been having sex with other people. But I’m scared I’m gonna be infertile in the future since I’m going tomorrow to get medicine after 2 months of having it. And my symptoms have gotten worse

you can go a very long time without knowing you have it, he could have had it before having sex with you, he should have been tested though. next time ask for an STD test before having sex with someone, it won’t make you infertile

i’m sorry that your trust is broken but you’ll be fine boo. take the antibiotics correctly and in three months retest. don’t manifest bad thoughts! you’ll still be able to carry in the future.

You’ll be fine, I had it for over a year unknown to me and I was still able to have children. Try not to stress, you’d have to have it for a very long time for it to cause lasting damage
