Im not sure wether to put this in general TTC or period talk. Anyways,, I’m young and grew up in a southern state. We didn’t have much sex ed. anything I know is from lots and lots of reading. I’m 18, engaged. I understand how conception works, etc etc. I’ve educated myself on ovulation, luteal phase, periods, pregnancy, etc. still, I’m a bit confused at the moment.

A week ago I got a very faint positive line on a pregnancy test; some say it looked like a watermark. Some say it was a positive. Two days later and 3-5 days too early for my period, I began lightly spotting off and on. The fact that it came early was odd enough, then the fact that it was lighter than usual, etc. i tested again just to see and got a negative. I’m ready to accept a negative pregnancy test. However, unusual again for my cycle, I began spotting today. My period ended two days ago. My boobs are pretty sore as well. My fiancé said I should test again in a few days despite the negative and my period.

I know of implantation bleeding but this seemed more like a period than IB. Is there any chance it could still be possible? Have any of you ever gotten a “full period”, negative test, and then a positive out of nowhere??
