So my period changed days a couple of months back and I’ve not gotten used to it yet so I usually forget that it’s now earlier than before. I used to log it everytime because it’s been the same day since I was 13. Anyway I’ve been forgetting to log it the past few months.

I had sex with my boyfriend (we never use condoms but we also never have sex when I’m ovulating) but we did a few days ago and something just told me to check my <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a> calendar and I’m ovulating. I told him today and his response was “why didn’t you tell me before hand?” I told him I forgot to log my period and he didn’t say anything after that. We had agreed that we don’t want another child until we’ve moved in together and we’re married traditionally (we’re African).

I’m just really nervous to take the test because he seemed a bit pissed off at me and wouldn’t talk about it any further. And just in case it’s relevant - we’ve been together for a year (known each other for 7 years) and I was pregnant when we started talking so he’s practically my son’s dad since my ex just ghosted. He’s 28 and I’m 26 and we both have good paying jobs. I don’t think it’s anything to do with finances. How do i approach this conversation without seeming defensive?
