How safe is baking soda baths?

Question

I read somewhere on the internet that baking soda baths detox your body, help with yeast and bacterial infections and list goes on and on. 
I have not did this,but just wanted to see if baking soda baths will change your ph balance? 
I also read on here on glow that someone said they had taken baking soda bath. I don't have any issues when it comes to my vaginal health that I know of,just wanted to asked a small question about baking soda.

I can’t see it harming you, but your body “detoxes” itself. There’s no need to detox your body. If you have a bacterial infection, you need antibiotics

I do it all the time!! Baking soda, apple cider vinegar and Epsom salt with some lavender essential oil! I love it!

I don’t see any reason to do it, they aren’t going to “detox” you in any way, but I doubt they’ll harm you either. It just sounds like a waste of time.
