Baby boy name?

I have always loved the name August. And my husband and I are both very picky about names. He likes the name as well. The only problem is, our baby is due in the month of August. Would it be weird to still choose that name for a baby boy? I’m trying to get past it but I’m not sure how other people would see it. We haven’t found another name that we love. Feel free to leave other suggestions of vintage feeling names.

Personally I think it’d be weird to use August if he wasn’t born in August lol. I love the name! But I’d only use it for an August born child.

Stick with it! I once knew a September who was born in the month of September. I thought it was the coolest thing and was quite jealous as I too was born in September 😂

Think of how often your birth month even comes up in conversation and how often it would even come to mind. Don’t let it put you off! 
I don’t think it’s an issue regardless, stick with it if you both love it!

A few years ago August was only just starting to gain popularity and I was due August 3rd & loved the name. I was so set on it and it seemed so perfect that I was also due in August but my husband HATED it, like wouldn’t budge lmao so we chose something else. Now I’m due again in August like 4 years later and I’m half tempted lmao😂

Like other commentators are saying - i think it makes perfect sense!! I had the name "June" on my baby name list but she was due in July and that felt off to me, like she'd been born in the wrong month, was late or something, even though she was technically just before her due date. Something completely at the opposite time of year would have felt okay I think but to be slightly off would have irked me. It's a beautiful name, go for it!!
