Has anyone had to have a perineal surgery repair after complications healing from a tear from birth? I was stitched too tightly after birth, so the wound pulled open and would never actually close without intervention. A month ago they had to reopen the entire tear through the muscle and re do it correctly, resetting my recovery. Now at 4 weeks post op I’m having the same tearing feeling and pain and the wound looks open again. I’m so exhausted from this whole recovery. Has anyone else had to have perineal repair surgery or multiple after postpartum healing complications? I don’t know what the next step could possibly be if it didn’t work a second time and I’m having trouble finding anyone else who had even a similar experience.
