My son is 4 years old,

He’s been late with every milestone which is no big deal he did it all in his own time.

This includes potty training.

He was fully trained with pee and took to it really fast, still wore nappies to bed but was good all day. He then went back to nursery and they weren’t very good on encouraging him to go so accidents started happening.

Sorry for TMI but he would start leaving skid marks in his pants, I put him on the potty to poo and he would go if you told him to.

Fast forward to now, he will use the potty most of the time but occasionally will run through to his room and pee on the floor, recently I put him for a time out in his room and I come through to find him covered in poo, there was pee all over the floor and he had smeared poo on the walls.

I gave him into trouble and chucked him in the bath.

He’s been really defiant lately, not listening to a thing we say. He is only 4 but very very smart, he knows fine well what he’s doing.

I am also 24 weeks pregnant, he knows about the baby and is so excited to be a brother.

I don’t know if he’s doing this because he’s not going to be the baby anymore but it’s just driving me mad, I have no clue what to do.

Has anyone else had anything similar with there little one and how did they sort it
