Late period negative test?

My husband I have unprotected sex often and have always used the pull out method. It doesn’t really matter to us if we get pregnant again or not. With that being said I am currently 6-7 days late on my period, sore breast, extreme fatigue etc. I’ve only used target brand test which all have given me BPN. I’m just wondering how long it took for you to get a BFP and if brands made a difference ? Thanks in advance

Are you tracking ovulation at all? You should have an obvious positive by your late period, but if you ovulate a few days later than usual this can push back the start date of your period or the time you’d get your bfp. Since you guys are having frequent unprotected sex it’s still possible to get pregnant if you’re unsure of when you’re ovulating! Brand wouldn’t really matter by the time of missed period, but really only if you’re testing earlier
