I went to school with a boy named Kassady pronounced like Cassidy. Never saw him get made fun of or picked on. Just a name and if a kid is a jersey they can find any name to make fun of, if you like it I don't thinknitnis that different. There are boys names Ashley or Whitney which are seen as traditionally female names and in the end doesn't matter because there are plenty of names that could go either way but often lean one way. Name them whatever in my view. I've known kids named Mark get made fun of for his name...kids can be assholes for any reason

Looking back, we had lots of strange names at my school. But I don’t remember anyone ever getting made fun of, we just accepted them as names and they became normal to us. I don’t know who all these kids are that are making fun of each other’s names! I think Cassidy is fine for a boy. It reminds me of David Cassidy.
