No period but spotting with something unusual? Any thoughts?
I think I might be pregnant with baby #2? I was supposed to get my period at the beginning of this month. I ended up spotting a tiny bit on December 2nd (not unusual, it usually happens the day before it gets really heavy, but it was still a light spotting). I ended up spotting until December 5 (4 days total) with on the 2nd or 3rd day heavier spotting. There were never any clots ( I normally have clots that can be very big) but I did have something come out I've never seen or heard of. The only thing I can think of that it sort of resembles is a mucus plug (I had my son in 2013). It was about the same size, pink/red with kind of a purple hue, almost perfectly round and was squishy. My last true period was at the end of October/ first couple days of November (I have a fairly normal cycle). I do have most of the PMS symptoms I would get but there are some slight differences. Swollen/sore breasts are usually on the outer sides and top but lately they are sore around the nipple area, as well as sensitive nipples but they aren't sore. I usually get fatigued but currently I'm so exhausted constantly that I'm sleeping most of the day/night. I normally get the period poops but I've been extremely constipated lately. I'm also havin .more discharge off and on to, the last 3 or 4 days has been so much that I sometimes have to check I didn't start my period, and it's currently very thin like water and clear. My sex drive is increasing SO MUCH each week. My mood swings I get for PMS are noticeably worse. My cervix is still high but I wouldn't say soft. I have never missed a period unrelated to previously being pregnant. My husband even asked me if I'm pregnant without me telling him any of these things I noticed. I took 2 tests, the same day, one negative and the other positive. Has anyone experienced this or heard of something similar? My appointment isn't for weeks and I'm trying to get any ideas or insight.
